IMPRESSIN COPINGS

An Impression Post (also called Impression Coping) is a component attached to a dental implant to accurately transfer the position and orientation of the implant to a dental cast or digital scan. It serves as a reference for the laboratory to fabricate the final prosthetic restoration, such as a crown, bridge, or overdenture. By using the impression post, the exact angulation and depth of the implant are captured, ensuring precise fit and optimal function of the final prosthesis.

OPEN TRAY

the coping is screwed into the tray through this opening, allowing it to be directly captured in the impression material.
